  1. We undertake to treat all communications from enquirers and customers as confidential.

  2. Except as stated below, any personal details given will be used only within maydale for internal administration, such as repair history, sales analysis or marketing.

  3. Except as stated below, we will not pass on any private details or communications, including email addresses, to another party, unless there is an explicit agreement to do so, such as being asked to forward a query to a manufacturer for comment.

  4. We may have to pass on customer details to manufacturers or their agents for such purposes as registering product guarantees, including extended guarantees, registering contracts such as Sky Agreements, and registering promotional offers. Details of what and to whom will be given on request.

  5. We operate a 'no-spam' policy, although we may contact (phone,email,post)an enquirer if it relates to a previous enquiry, such as updating price or delivery information. We may also contact a customer as a follow-up to a sale, such as a reliability or safety-related issue, or other issue directly relating to the product, or perhaps even to send 'Seasonal Greetings'.

  6. We may contact a customer with occasional news or product information we consider may be of interest, unless specifically requested not so to do.

  7. We are registered under the Data Protection Act and undertake to abide by its principles.
