Maydale was in based Whyteleafe (near Caterham) Surrey UK from 1972 until Nov 2005, and was in Croydon for 6yrs before that. We closed our retail shop in April 2005 to focus our business on in-home installations. In November 2005 we moved to our current address, 219 Croydon road, Caterham, where we share offices with Alit Solutions Ltd.

We offer a comprehensive local in-home supply-and-installation service on HOME-CINEMA and multiroom 'custom-install' for AV systems, plasma, LCD & projectors. This extends to COMMERCIAL installations including reception areas, schools, training rooms etc. Our services extend to video and audio EDITING and format conversion for almost all domestic formats -even betamax! Our reputation is built on giving honest and quality advice by experienced and knowledgable staff.

BUSINESS Through ALIT SOLUTIONS LTD we can offer a quality service in Commercial NETWORK installation and IT consultancy. Any size of LAN undertaken, from a small workgroup to a large multi-domain network, we can handle the telecoms, configuration, server & network software installation, cabling (both copper and fibre), in fact almost anything embracing BUSINESS TECHNOLOGY. This includes ADSL and data communication systems, Blackberry communicators, photocopiers, telephone systems, PDAs, laptops, even digital cameras. Also conference room AV equipment, plasma & LCD displays and projectors . We can also build company websites and even offer HR and Health & Safety consultancy through our business partners.

MAIL ORDER We do not specialise in mail-order, as our business philosophy is one of personal service, but if you think we can supply what you are looking for then we can carrier anywhere to mainland uk at cost of carraige. We do require a cheque-with-order for mail-order, as we do not have a facility to take credit-card payments by phone or via our website.

GUARANTEES Domestic mail-order sales carry at least a 1-yr guarantee. Certain products are serviced by manufacturer approved service agents. Others have a return-to-base warranty. Contact us if a fault is suspected. Sales to Business customers are covered by the manufacturer's warranty only. Our Home-cinema and AV home-installations are covered by an on-site warranty, or as agreed at the time of sale, with plasma and lcd and similar products handled by manufacturer approved agents.
